So glad you're here with me!
I am a pastor's kid who grew up in New England, gleaning an appreciation for nature's beauty from a young age. I am a certified Stephen Minister, with extensive education in creative writing, and have worked passionately in small group and women's ministries. Although my Episcopal roots evolved into a more contemporary, nondenominational faith, I still draw on the rhythms of faith I learned as a child.
I am wonderfully loved by my husband of fifteen years and two creative & compassionate kids. I work part time supporting a local church with my administrative gifts, homeschool our two kids and write in all the margins of life I can find.
My husband and I have been walking our faith journey together since 2008 when we started dating. While we walked, talked and prayed our way through an older neighborhood, we were embraced by the old trees with their deep, strong roots and the inescapable fragrance of jasmine. These pockets of jasmine would bloom so that you walked through the fragrance before ever seeing where it came from. The fragrance of faith in the lives of those I have known has influenced me every step of the way.
