Bartimaeus discerned and listened.
And when Jesus arrived, he knew exactly who he was.
And Bartimaeus made everyone uncomfortable.
He called out, then shouted louder.
He is a captivating example of faith in action.
His belief of who Jesus was, wasn't complacent or passive.
It was loud. And persistent.
Do you like losing yourself in the
written word and taking time to pause?
You are good.
And He set me here, amongst the thorns
of the rose and gentle breeze.
He bids me walk in evening’s glow and be still.
God is in the soil between my toes, the rush in my ears.
As He is in Jesus.
Crafted with thought, breathed into by holiness, I am here.
I am whole. Fully alive, fully imperfect, fully wanted.
